Islamabad: Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation of Afghanistan, will arrive in Islamabad tomorrow on a three-day visit. He will meet the President, Prime Minister, Chairman Senate, Speaker National Assembly, Foreign Minister and other senior political and military figures.
According to the Foreign Office, Dr. Abdullah is accompanied by a high-level delegation of prominent members of the Afghan High Council for National Reconciliation. This is his first visit to Pakistan.
Dr. Abdullah will also address a program at the Institute of Strategic Studies in Islamabad as a keynote speaker and interact with the media.
According to the Foreign Office Spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah's visit will improve the Afghan peace process and Pak-Afghanistan bilateral relations. The two countries have deep roots in common history, religious and cultural values and traditions. And fully supports the pursuit of prosperity.
