Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has canceled Umrah visitors whose visa has expired due to the Corona virus.

The Saudi Ministry, in partnership with the relevant agencies, has set out a comprehensive plan under which the Umrah pilgrims who do not travel to their country on time due to travel restrictions will be forgiven. Such visitors can apply for a period of time to avoid penalties and legal grips for violating their Umrah visas.

Visitors who do not comply with the Umrah visa must file their details on the ministry's website by March 28, the Hajj and Umrah Ministry said. The relevant institutions will facilitate the Umrah pilgrims to their homeland. Each visitor will be sent an SMS to his / her telephone listed on the system which will contain their flight and travel details. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has warned that if the Umrah pilgrims do not benefit from this time, they will be punished in the extreme according to the law.
