Karachi: The price of gold in the global and local market has been rising for 3 consecutive days due to which the price of gold per tola has gone up by Rs. 300 to Rs. 115,000.
In the international bullion market, the price of 24 carat gold per ounce rose by ڈالر 2 to 196 1965, while gold prices rose by Rs 300 and Rs 257 per tola and per 10 grams in the local barter markets on Wednesday.
As a result of the increase, the price of gold in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta has increased to Rs 115,000 per tola and Rs 98,594 per ten grams.
Representatives of the bullion market said that the price of gold per tola in Pakistani barter markets on Wednesday was Rs 9,000 less than the Dubai gold market.
On the other hand, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 1,320 and the price of 10 grams of silver remained stable at Rs 1,131.68.
