Islamabad: The government has announced a bill to be set up in the southern Punjab province for the formation of the province while it has also decided to contact other political parties.
Talking to media after the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the meeting was also attended by Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar, Federal and Provincial Ministers belonging to South Punjab and IG Punjab. The Prime Minister received the highest opinion, putting forward the manifesto of the PTI. An important decision has been taken to put into effect the promises made by the people of southern Punjab.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Prime Minister has decided that a bill will be tabled in the Assembly for the establishment of South Punjab province and it will be consulted with other political parties as other political parties also believe that South Punjab Must be eliminated. It will take some time for consensus to pass the bill.
External Affairs Minister said that the decision of the Secretariat has been made for the people of South Punjab, it will require Rs. 3 billion, the Secretariat will require 13 thousand 500 posts. Will be posted. Both officers will set up offices in Bahawalpur and Multan. South Punjab did not receive funds as promised in the past, 35% of the population will allocate funds to southern Punjab.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the Prime Minister has given a roadmap to the promise made by his manifesto. Did not do anything, when the UPA will submit its bill, the PPP will support its position, it is expected that members of PML-N will persuade their leadership.
