Islamabad: At the request of the Pakistan Hindu Council against the killing of 11 Pakistani Hindus in India, the Hindu community from across the country, led by Dr. Ramesh Kumar, reached Islamabad to stage a protest in front of the Indian High Commission.
After not being allowed to go before the Indian High Commission, the Hindu community staged a sit-in in front of the Diplomatic Enclave on Islamabad's Highway to Democracy.
The Hindu protesters participating in the sit-in demanded that the Indian government investigate the killing of Pakistani Hindus in Rajasthan and bring the real culprits to justice. Protesters held banners with various slogans against the Indian government.
The Pakistan Hindu Council has set up a sit-in in front of the diplomatic enclave with regular stage and chairs. Caravans from different cities of the country have reached Islamabad, including Hindu women, children and men.
