Karachi: Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq says that in the last elections, the people of Karachi voted for PTI and PTI gave people unemployment, power, gas and water cut off.
Addressing the “Rights Karachi March”, Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that Karachi is a mini-Pakistan, when Karachi is disturbed, the whole country is disturbed, Karachi is inhabited by people from every part of the country and speaking every language. Pakistan is a success and its destruction is the destruction of the whole country. No government since Ayub Khan has given Karachi its due. The provincial government and the federal government have always exploited the people of Karachi. And the provincial government is also doing injustice to Karachi.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that the 780 days of the current federal government is the story of their failures, the economy is ruined and the people are miserable, the government claiming the state of Madinah could not take effective action against rapists Flour is getting Rs 60 per kg, prices of pulses, rice and sugar have skyrocketed, sugar is being sold at Rs 105, the price of medicines has been increased, boys and girls have been abused and the culprit has been punished. The government has brought the old machinery to build a new Pakistan and what they have done together is in front of everyone.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that there were objections to the census in Karachi but the federal government had not yet done anything to correct the census despite the announcement. In the last elections, the people of Karachi voted for PTI and PTI gave people unemployment, electricity, gas and water cuts. Jamaat-e-Islami is with Karachi and is celebrating Karachi Rights Day on October 14 across the country, expressing solidarity for the people of Karachi across the country.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami said that corruption is on the rise in the country. Earlier people used to pay bribes for illegal activities but now they have to pay for legitimate activities. The Prime Minister is in favor of taking a U-turn. But have mercy, the Kashmir policy of the government has failed and the Kashmiris have also been disappointed by this government, the economic policy of the government started with eggs, chickens, now they say that they will improve the economy by producing hemp. How can such people run the government and solve the problems of the people? Karachi should be given an empowered city government, the census should be corrected, the people should be relieved of many problems including electricity and water.
