Karachi: In Model Colony, 2 houses were completely destroyed while 17 were partially damaged.

Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister Murtaza Wahab said in a press conference at Sindh Secretariat that after review, it was found out that 13 vehicles were also damaged in the crash. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed Commissioner Karachi and DC Malir to evacuate the victims of the houses damaged during the crash. Later, the administration has shifted 16 victims to a private hotel on Faisal Street, while the Sindh government has also announced that the houses of the citizens who were damaged due to the plane crash will be rebuilt.

Murtaza Wahab said that we pay tribute to the police, Rangers and the residents of Model Colony who took timely action and rushed the dead and injured to the hospital. Murtaza Wahab said that the residents of Model Colony with their help rescued two injured Zubair and Zafar Masood from the wreckage of the plane and rushed them to the hospital. Both the injured spoke to the Sindh Chief Minister on telephone. The injured told the Sindh Chief Minister that the residents of Model Colony bravely pulled them out of the rubble and rushed them to the hospital. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

Adviser to the Chief Minister said that the bodies of 97 persons who died in the plane crash have been removed and shifted to cold storage. DNA of the deceased is being taken from Karachi University after which the bodies will be handed over to heirs soon. ۔

In response to a question, Murtaza Wahab and Dr Azra Pecho said that the governor was unaware of the DNA test. Karachi University's DNA lab is in line with modern requirements. If a team from Lahore comes for DNA, they should come too. The 47 relatives who took DNA samples have given these cross-match samples.

Provincial Health Minister Dr Azra said that peace ambulance was working in collaboration with Sindh government and emergency operations and services were being conducted in all hospitals. Apart from Corona, operations are also being carried out for other diseases. If the health care staff continues to suffer from Corona, the problems will be serious.
