Karachi: The Sindh Health Department has completed preparations to close field isolation centers for Corona in Karachi.
According to the orders issued by the Sindh Health Department, a meeting of the Sindh Government Committee on Corona Virus Emergency Fund chaired by Chief Secretary Sindh was held on September 14, 2020 at the Karachi Expo Center and Flood Isolation Center at PAF Faisal Base. The Sindh Health Department has formed a three-member committee to look into the matter.
The committee comprises of Dr. Sikandar Ali Memon, Convener, Chief Technical Officer, Health Department, and two other members, Dr. Ashiq Hussain Shah, Assistant District Health Officer, Southern District, and Riaz Ahmad Jhakrani, Deputy Secretary, Health Department.
The three-member committee will prepare an inventory of all items in the isolation centers, including equipment, furniture, medicines and other items purchased and supplied from the Sindh government's emergency fund. Distribution plan of all items for Sindh government's other health supplies. The committee will submit its performance report to the health secretary in this regard.
