Sindh government spent billions of rupees on health sector but where the money was spent, they did not respond, Opposition Leader
Karachi: Opposition leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi, while demanding the imposition of Governor's Rule in Sindh, said that the provincial government has not done anything, the federation should intervene while Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah can only issue a bulletin.
Addressing a press conference outside the Sindh Assembly, Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Leader of the Opposition in Sindh and PTI, said that under Article 245, the President of Pakistan has been given the power to impose financial emergency whenever he feels like it.
Criticizing the Sindh government, Firdous Shamim Naqvi also slammed the government's statement of spending billions of rupees in the health sector in the province, saying that the Sindh government spent billions of rupees on the health sector but where was the money spent? The government did not respond.
He said that there was a demand from the federation and the Chief Justice that an emergency should be declared in Sindh, adding that the situation in the province was deteriorating rapidly.
On the other hand, after adjourning the Sindh Assembly session, Leader of the Opposition Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that the opposition would hold its session in the Sindh Assembly on Wednesday and would also inform the people about the achievements of the provincial government.
