Islamabad: Razzaq Dawood, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Industries and Trade, has said that the reduction in global crude oil prices will be beneficial to the people as well as to look at the economic situation.
Talking to journalists, he said that falling oil prices globally would benefit economically. When such a situation arises, one has to act wisely.
Razzaq Dawood said that pre-oil buying agreements also have benefits and disadvantages. We are in no hurry to make a decision. The matter will also be considered at a cabinet meeting.
In response to a question, he said that Zubair Geelani, chairman of the Investment Board, resigned for personal reasons, saying that I had nothing to do with the matter.
He said that a textile policy was introduced in the country soon and a briefing has been prepared for the Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, addressing the function of Pakistan Tobacco Company, he said that the company's new products will increase its exports by $ 3 million. The company has the potential to export $ 5 million.
He said that during the reign of Khaqan Abbasi, the shutdown of industries was intensified, but this was stopped under the policies of the present government.
He said that I guarantee that investment in Pakistan, industry will grow. The present government has adopted a continuum of policies.
