Islamabad: An Indian conspiracy to obstruct Canadian higher education for Pakistani youth has been exposed.
According to Express News, Pakistani students going to Canada for higher education are at the mercy of the Canadian Consulate in Abu Dhabi due to lack of visa processing facility in Islamabad. Pakistani students get visas at the Canadian Consulate in Abu Dhabi. The application has to be submitted and the majority of the staff posted there are of Indian origin. Who reject applications of Pakistani students without any reason due to prejudice.
In this regard, the students approached the Pakistani High Commissioner to Canada, Bashir Tarar, to contact the Canadian authorities to point out this injustice and request that the Pakistani student visa case be processed in Islamabad. So far no progress has been made on this, due to which Pakistani students are being deprived of higher education, especially those students who have been given scholarships by Canadian universities.
When contacted by The Express, a spokesman for the Foreign Office said it was aware of visa issues for Pakistani students going to Canada for higher education. The Pakistan High Commission in Ottawa had contacted the Canadian government in this regard. We have requested the Government of Canada to transfer the Visa Processing Service from Abu Dhabi to Islamabad and progress is expected soon.
