Karachi: Federal Law Minister Barrister Dr. Forough Naseem has said that the federal government has only one agenda and that is the rule of law.
Federal Law Minister Barrister Dr. Forough Naseem while addressing the 5th National Judicial Conference organized by Justice Helpline at a local hotel in Karachi said that Pakistan is currently in the defense movement, NAB is an independent institution, judiciary in Pakistan is independent and corrupt. The political system destroyed the system of Pakistan. Nothing happens if you do not respect your judiciary and state institutions. Pakistan and the Pakistani people have rejected this statement.
The National Judicial Conference was also attended by a large number of young lawyers including former Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Sindh Government Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab, Sindh Bar Council, Sindh High Court Bar Association, Karachi Bar leaders and senior lawyers.
Addressing the conference, the Federal Minister for Law and Order said that this federal government has only one agenda and that is the rule of law. Justice Javed Iqbal is an honest man. The prime minister has no intention of making a case against anyone. Did Imran Khan or the army say don't give money trail? At present Pakistan is in the defense movement.
He said that when Panama made a revelation against the ministers of the world, everyone had given their explanation. Nothing happens if you do not respect your judiciary and state institutions. Pakistan and the Pakistani people have rejected his statement. This is the situation in the country due to corrupt political leadership. There is no way to accept corrupt outdated political leaders. If anyone is accused, give money trail. We've made a lot of changes for women.
Addressing the conference, former Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali said that Bengal-Pakistan was separated due to politics of personal interests. We haven't learned a lesson since 1971. The incompetent and corrupt leadership of the country has brought the country to this state.
Sindh government spokesman Barrister Murtaza Wahab in his address said that the real advocacy is from the lower judiciary. The common man gets justice from the district and session courts. The government has nothing to do with the courts. Now there must be a debate on how to get justice for the poor. The Sindh government is ready to sit with the lawyers.
