I pay tribute to the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir who have been under siege for nine months. Special message of the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir on Eid. Photo, file
Muzaffarabad: Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has said that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Srinagar, Jammu and Ladakh soon.
According to Express News, while issuing a special message on the occasion of Eid, Raja Farooq Haider said that the people of Eid-ul-Fitr should celebrate Eid this year instead of the traditional way to show solidarity with the victims of Karunoba, oppressed Kashmiris and the families of those killed in the PIA tragedy. Celebrate Eid with simplicity.
He said that there are only two ways for a Muslim or martyrdom or freedom. I salute the spirit of the Kashmiri people who have been trapped in Indian-occupied Kashmir for 9 months. Inshallah they will soon celebrate Eid in Srinagar, Jammu and Ladakh.
