Karachi: The Sindh government has changed the times of business and movement of citizens.

According to the new business hours set out in the notification issued by the Home Department, the malls, which are open four days a week, will remain open from 6 am to 4 pm.

A day earlier, the Home Department had issued a notification of working hours for these markets from 8 am to 4 pm. Public movement will be completely banned from 5 pm to 6 am. Earlier, the ban lasted from 5 pm to 8 am.

It should be noted that commercial centers across Sindh including Karachi have reopened after 49 days of lockdown. Work also started in more than five hundred markets and offices of 9 government departments. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed the administration to ensure implementation of SOPs. He said that no one should be harassed for enforcing the rules. Restrictions on entertainment venues, shopping malls, restaurants and public gatherings will remain in place. There will be a complete lockdown in the province on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
